Your path
Every level is open from the start. Take a level's test to earn a score: 80% passes and earns a star, 90% two stars, 100% three. Your best test score shows on each level so you can track progress.
Lessons
Short lessons introduce each region of the staff, with figures you can hear and small tasks you answer on the keys. Work top to bottom, or jump to any level from your path above.
Practice
Pick a level and read the notes on the staff, pressing each key on the piano below in order. Missed notes come back more often, and return a few rounds later for an unaided retry.
Intro Songs
Short tunes to read note by note, easiest first, in both clefs. Finish a song once and its in-tempo mode unlocks.
The Studio
Browse the library, or load your own: a YouTube video (a keyboard-cam is ideal), a MusicXML or MIDI score (with or without a video), or a saved song file. Then study it with the flowing sheet, the falling-notes roll, slow motion, looping and sync points.A YouTube link plays the video. A MusicXML or MIDI file becomes a playable song on its own (add a video later to sync them). A .bpq.json file restores a whole saved study.
The presentation area shows two panes you choose with the Top and Bottom pickers: cropped or full video, the flowing sheet, the piano roll, or nothing. Drag the divider between them to resize; use the ⛶ corner button (or F) for fullscreen.
Drag on the video or the sheet to scrub; a click on the video plays/pauses, a click on a note plays that note. Add a MusicXML or MIDI file to see the score flow along; with a video, drop sync points on the notes that match the frame for a tight fit.

Rhythm
Reading has two halves: which note, and when. Pick a pattern, press start, and after the four-click count-in tap any piano key (or the space bar) exactly on each note. Rests are counted silence: no tap.
Exams
Prove it when you are ready: a graded level test, a 60-second sprint, or the 90-second Reading Exam that rates your fluency. One try per question and only finished runs count.

Test history
Free play
Play anything on the piano below and watch it appear on the grand staff, with the interval from the previous note named. A nice way to reverse-check your reading: guess where the note will land before you press.
